NFTs are a new type of art that can be traded on the blockchain. They’re like digital assets that you can buy, sell, and trade easily—and they’re made by anyone! If you want to create your own NFT art for free, Rarible lets you mint and approve your own work in just a few easy steps.
Make Your Image or Video.
Once you’ve done this, you can import your image or video into Paint.NET as a new file. The more important step is to ensure that the image format is supported by the game itself (most NFT art will be PNG files) and that its dimensions are big enough for what you plan to use it for. Most games have a maximum size limit of 2000 pixels wide and 1000 pixels tall—but check the specific game’s guidelines first! The same goes for videos: if they are too large, they won’t load at all in-game.

- Mint the Artwork
Mint and Approve the Art.
From the Rarible app, go to the “My Art” section. Then, click on the art you want to mint and approve. Once you’re in that specific piece of NFT art, you’ll see a button called “Mint & Approve”, which is also where you can find your minted tokens! Once your token has been minted and approved by another user, it can be used as currency or traded with other users.
You can create your own NFT piece for free using Rarible.
Rarible is a powerful software tool that allows you to upload photos and artworks from your personal computer, create digital copies of physical objects (like jewelry), and then turn those digital copies into non-fungible tokens—all for free!
The process is simple enough:
- Create an account on the Rarible website by entering your email address and a password. You’ll be prompted to create a security question in case you forget your password; make sure to take note of this information so that you can retrieve it later if needed.
- Once logged in, click “Create Your First NFT!” at the top right corner of their homepage. This will bring up their dashboard where you can choose which piece(s) or object(s) you want to make into NFTs; there are several categories available including art, collectibles, fabric designs/patterns and more!
- Clicking any given category will take you directly over there where all items within each category are organized alphabetically by title order with options for sorting them based on popularity or price range (from lowest-to higher). For example: if I like artwork made with ink pens but don’t care about whether these pieces were created by professional artists versus amateurs who just used pens as part of artistic practice during college classes then I could sort my results according.
It’s easy to make your own NFT artwork. Just follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to creating a beautiful piece in no time!
